Literacy Link Niagara currently provides two assessments for adults who are trying to better understand their literacy skill levels for work, education or life.
A Learning Choices assessment (LCA) is completed one-on-one by a trained educational assessor. The client completes a series of led and independent activities to give a snapshot of the current skill levels. From this snapshot, the assessor works with the client to suggest programs that will help the client get to their personal goals.
Literacy Link Niagara also provides a Learning Challenges Assessment Tool (LCAT). The LCAT is suitable for people who may have a learning challenge and who need to determine how to adapt educational and employment routines to compensate for these challenges.
